Criminal Law 101
Minn. Stat. Ch. 609. Criminal Code. A criminal code contains all, or a significant part of, a state's criminal law.
Minn. Stat. 609.02, subd. 1: "Crime" means conduct which is prohibited by statute and for which the actor may be sentenced to imprisonment, with or without a fine.
