The Minnesota Homeownership Center promotes and advances successful homeownership in Minnesota with an emphasis on serving those facing the greatest barriers to homeownership: lower income households and communities of color. Services include homebuyer assistance, foreclosure prevention, refinancing and reverse mortgage counseling, and rehab and repair programs.
Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV)

Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been assisting veterans for over 25 years. Each year MACV receives more than 25,000 contacts, inquiries, and requests from veterans across the state. In 2014, MACV comprehensively served 1,810 veterans and their families throughout Minnesota who were homeless or experiencing a crisis that could lead to homelessness – and the need for services continues to rise.

Homeownership Capacity Program
Launched in 2014 in response to Minnesota’s large disparities in homeownership rates between white households and BIPOC households. This program consists of non-profits helping prepare low-income renters and BIPOC households with the goal of homeownership to become sustainable homeowners through financial education and coaching.
Fix Up Loan Program
Offers affordable, fixed interest rate loans for home improvement projects.
