Oral History Collection

Oscar R. Knutson was appointed District Judge in 1941 and resigned to accept appointment as Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court in 1948. He was appointed Chief Justice in 1962, in which capacity he served until his resignation in 1973. His interviews took place in 1978 and 1980. He died in 1981.
