Court of Appeals Judge Roland C. Amundson compiled a combined history of the Minnesota Courts and the path leading to the construction of the Minnesota Judicial Center, which was published in 1995.

Justice Lawrence Yetka who was involved in the work to build a building for the courts reflected on it in his career book in chapter 11, The Judicial Center.
